The February 13, 2015 meeting was called to order by Vice President Jim Mansfield. Much appreciation to the Bright Lions Club for allowing BABA to meet at the building.

Before the meeting began everyone paired up with a new best friend, and shared 3 things about themselves. We were all introduced by our new best friend to the group. Fun was had by all in attendance.

Mark Graver, Campus President of Ivy Tech Community College Southeast was the guest speaker. He gave some very interesting facts and statistics on enrollment, student profiles and graduates. He was very positive about teaming students and local business for intern or externships and future employment opportunities for students and graduates.

Minutes were approved from the January meeting.

Dan Cross gave an unofficial treasurers report.

The Golf Committee reports that sponsorships are going well with sponsorships. Our sincere appreciation goes out to our Platinum Sponsor, The Beacon.

Lissa Graber from Mainsource Bank volunteered to be the event coordinator and will meet with Greg Gronwall at a future date. Greg Seamon, scout for the Cincinnati Bengals has confirmed as the guest speaker. Jim Mansfield urged everyone to SHARE the BABA website on Facebook. Art Little reminded everyone about the Annual Bright Lions Pancake Breakfast on March 7. Tickets are available from any Lion Club Member.

The meeting ended with a “selfie” photo for the BABA website and Facebook.

Todd Listerman, Dearborn County Engineer will be the guest speaker in March. We look forward to his insight of the road improvements through downtown Bright.
