Watch our video! The Golf Fundraiser was a huge success and the Bright Area Business Association will donate $4000 to the Bright Fire and EMT, spend up to $200 to replace some of the US flags that line the parade route, and $500 for the North Dearborn Pantry. Formal presentation to the Firemen will be at the Bright Festival and the Pantry will receive a check at the July meeting. Last year the Fire Dept and EMT received $1600 so this is a huge increase! Thanks go out to all that worked so hard on this event, our Gold Sponsor, Comcast Business Class, Silver Sponsor, Mansfield Insurance Agency, and our numerous Hole Sponsors.

Thanks Celeste for publishing this in the Becon:
The 3rd Annual Bright Area Golf Fundraiser successfully raised thousands of dollars to benefit the Bright Area Fire & EMT and the Bright community. The total will be announced at the Bright Festival, but represents more than double the amount from last year’s fundraiser. Approximately 40 local businesses participated by volunteering, sponsoring or golfing in the outing. The event was fortunate to have Comcast Business Class as a Gold Sponsor this year.
Mike Raftery, Comcast Business Account Executive, said, “It was inspiring to see local businesses participate in an enjoyable event that supports such a worthy cause.” Details and picture can be seen at the Bright Area Business Association website,
