Tonya Wolfe brought the meeting to order the following were discussed:

  • Dr. Mark Munchel discussed membership and the progress he and Bebe had in tweaking the websites’ Member Directory.

    • Golf Teams & Hole Sponsors $8,202
    • Venmo: Hole 18 & Mulligans $820
    • Major sponsors $5000
    • Total Income: $13,921.66
    • Total Expenditures: 4,017.06
    • Net Profit: $9904.60
  • Golf Event Discussion
    • More teams this year earned BABA a Hidden Valley credit from funds paid for teams shortage in 2025.
    • Using Venmo netted over $800 unrealized gains for lack of cash and no credit card capabilities.
    • We were short a Silver sponsorship this year which negatively impacted the profits.
    • Discussion on what worked well and what needs improvement as well as the possibility of obtaining a single day gambling license for additional games.
  • Stellar Pathways Bright Meadows Park
    • Amphitheater discussions for Bright Meadows Park
    • Bebe distributed a survey being conducted to determine where residents and business owners would like the park funds to be distributed, which attendees completed
  • July Parade July 25th Discussion
    • Grand Marshals selected
    • The Sheriff and Commissioner approved the route
    • State Line closes at 11 AM
    • Volunteers requested at Bright Christian Church 7:30 AM-those helping to setup stage
    • Parade line up starts from 9-10 AM
    • The parade begins at 11 AM
    • Route is from Bright Christian Church to the Fire Department
    • Lonny will not be able to monitor the end of the parade and needs a person to assist in his place at lineup and at end of parade to keep people moving.
    • Remind participants to consider how they will get back to the church following the parade.
    • Leave cars at end of the parade, but not at the Fire Department
    • Park on Judd or another side road
    • Signage distribution for hole sponsors and Gold/Bronze sponsors
    • Volunteers
    • Music festival preparations limiting Firefighter’s attendance
    • Trash pick-up
    • Traffic directing
    • Discussed need for new walkie-talkies and pros/cons buying and renting
      • Larry Shideler volunteered to ask if his organization would be willing to loan theirs to us for the event to save us the added cost this year.
