Jeff Hughes was the guest speaker at the Oct. meeting and gave the group an update on the Stateline Road project. It was suggested that another public meeting should be held to update everyone on the progress.

The Bright Area Business Association will sponsor an informational meeting on the Stateline Road project on Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 7-8 p.m. at the North Dearborn Library. The public is invited to attend. Dearborn County officials will provide an update on the plans to add turn lanes on Stateline in Bright and to the approaches to Stateline from Jamison Road and Salt Fork Road. The officials are: Todd Listerman, county engineer; Jeff Hughes, county commissioner; and possibly a consultant to the project.
At a recent meeting of the Bright Area Business Association, County Commissioner Jeff Hughes estimated it would be next summer at the earliest before construction could begin.
Thanks Celeste for making the arrangements!
