NEW BUSINESS

  • Motion Made to add Dr. Mark Munchel, Membership Chairman, to the BABA account as a user to help him properly document paid memberships – all in favor. Approved adding Dr. Mark Munchel to the BABA account as a user.
  • Golf Outing Recap: The BABA Golf Outing was a huge success! This takes a lot of work, time and involvement with the community to bring it together. The golf outing is the biggest fund raiser we do all year and allows us to give back to the community each year. After all expenses were paid, we were able to raise $11,791.49 !!!
  • Parade Preparations: Our next big event is the parade on July 26th. Please join us by volunteering for the event as well as sharing the parade flyer on your social media and in your communities. We will make this one another successful event 😊

    • Terry Hahn will be our MC again this year 😊 Mike Durmandy has provided the convertible 😊 Calcom is our sponsor for the parade 😊 First Financial will allow us to use their electric again this year 😊 Tamara Taylor: Terry is NOT Emceeing. Neither is Mike. Jared Ewbank and Brian Messore are emcees. Jay Tucker is doing the sound system.
    • Lineup starts around 9 – State Line closed roughly 11am
    • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
      • *End of route volunteer to get people to keep going (Lonnie), 1 or 2 people for lineup. Scouts are on board to lead the parade. Tamara Taylor:  And Bob Sommer. He does it every year with Lonnie.
      • *People to hand in the papers for the MC-*Need a few kids to be runners Tamara Taylor: I will do runners to emcee
      • We will *Print a MAP where people need to be for helpers *Yellow paper for not to stop. We are passing around thank you cards for both Bright Fire and Dearborn County Sheriff. Please sign them and we will send them out after the parade.

    • Music on the River every Thursday throughout the Summer at Lawrenceburg Civic Park.
